You may hear me talk about “keto”, my diet, way of eating, or exercise in losing the flub.
Before I got pregnant with my youngest daughter, I had lost 65 lbs in 4 months on the Dr. Bernstein diet. Very low carb and very low calorie and very high cost.
I then gained about 70 lbs with my pregnancy that needed to come off after said pregnancy. And KETO was the ticket for me. In the keto world there is lots of discussion on what is keto, but essentially it’s the physical state of being in ketosis, with the intent of using your own fat stores as your body fuel instead of using glucose that you ingest. For me it’s high fat, medium protein and less than 20 carbs a day. It creates a moderate calorie deficit for me and I am slowly dropping the fatty body bits. As of now I am about 25 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I love it, but I miss the chocolate.
My hubby, best friends and some family are also doing this WOE and it’s making their bodies happy too. One day I will connect you to some of their weight loss adventures.
